About

Born in New York City in a mental fog/smog made of gluten and other inflammatory substances, Carl did what he could do as a writer and musician until cleaning up his interior physiological environment in the early part of the 21st century.

Now living in northern Alabama, Carl is playing music, writing songs, writing books, writing health columns for various websites and trying to stay clear headed.

In the past, Carl has worked for Prevention Magazine, The New York Times, Self Magazine, Energy Times Magazine and other publications that are rarely found on newstands anymore.

As he currently writes prose, poetry and music he tries not to dwell on the possibility of ending up like Algernon. who ended up with flowers instead of a functioning brain.
